Blackbeard’s Seafood Island Ayala Centrio Mall Cagayan de Oro City
9:27 AM
After roaming around Ayala Centrio Mall, we headed to Seafood Island for
dinner. My family was so curious of their boodle fight. It has been a while
since the last time we had boodle fight in our hometown in the province. Their
waiter accommodates us and helped us on their menu. We chose their best seller,
Tali Beach Boodle Feast for only Php735.00. There were five of us including our
kids and I bet we could have finished it. Few minutes later our order arrived.
Tali
Beach has Grilled chicken, inasal big barbeque, steamed white shrimps, grilled
bangus, fried bangus, grilled eggplant, crabs, grilled squid, grilled tomatoes,
lato, mangga, pakwan with steamed rice. We were so amazed of their food
presentation which excites us to eat. We ate with our bare hands and it
was really fun.
Boodle
fight is a military style of eating where long tables are prepared and
food are on top of the banana leaves where you eat using your bare hands.
Blackbeard’s Seafood Island
maybe the first to offer the boodle style of serving food in Cagayan de Oro
City. It has a wide array of seafood cuisine in their menu which we wanted
to try in our next visit.
Blackbeard's
Seafood Island is known for the freshest seafood, barbeque favorites and the
ultimate in island cooking. Inspired by the famous pirate, Blackbeard, who
traveled all over the Atlantic, the Indian and the Pacific Ocean, he's been to
Galapagos Islands, the Gold Coast, Africa, Europe and finally, Asia specially
Philippines where he settled down and discovered her passion in cooking who
later on became a chef.
Their
ambiance and accommodation is good. The food is worth the money spent. When you
visit here, be sure that your stomach is empty as you might not be able to
consume your order like what happened to us.
